4-5-2011 - The hated teardown

Adam came over tonight and we attacked the vile creature in the garage.

First thing we did was get the CX back on it's wheels. We rolled it out of the garage and parked it in front of the house.

Then we tore the tranny / clutch / flywheel off, and mounted the block on the engine stand. After that, stuff just kinda flew off it and before we knew it we had a completely bare block. Stuff sure does come apart really nice when you've just assembled it...lol.

Anyways, now we have to figure out what's next. The bearings all look crappy, so I'm going to have to get stuff inspected and clearanced and figure out what needs replacing.
