12-2-09 - Go time

After waiting and waiting forever on Cobb to provide me with software to tune my turbo, I finally gave up on them and went with Hondata. It was a hard decision, but I just couldn't justify waiting any longer.

No time to waste, got my FlashPro in the mail today, got it locked to the car and verified that everything was running well..... it feels so good to have tuning checked off my list.... wow I can hardly believe it.

With that out of the way, the tear down has begun.

Took some pix of the goodies I picked up recently. The new vibrant couplers to adapt the Greddy kit to the Garret GT30R upgrade turbo, the water and oil lines for the turbo, as well as new OEM studs all around for the turbo manifold.

I got the oil pan pulled and drilled tonight in prep for getting the oil line fitting welded to the pan. That in and of itself took me all night, but it wasn't too difficult, just a lot of time under the car.
