1-31-2010 - Finished timing belt, Upgraded fuel pump and pressure testing, Civic front lip install
What a day. We finished up the timing belt install on the teg, Adam installed mud flaps, then got it out of the garage so we could shift gears to working on the Civic.
Doug@Hondata sent me his fuel pressure tester to run an array of tests on the fuel pressure of the system as I performed each upgrade to the system. We had to test at the tank and at the fuel rail, this made for interesting drives down the road in the rain with the pressure tester coming through the passenger window.... Adam loved every moment of it...lol
After doing the tests from the pump, we decided to get the front lip installed as it was getting late and I didn't feel like driving around in the rain any more.
After installing the lip, I started to install my injectors, but was sent the wrong clips by T1Race Development so the install ended up being significantly more complicated than I anticipated. Decided to wait till tomorrow to finish that up. Tomorrow we also have to pull the fuel cage again to crush the FPR with the CT-e crushing tool.
